⚫ Yoshio Taniguchi / Rouault Chapel

The Rouault Chapel was built to commemorate Georges Rouault, regarded as one of the greatest religious painters of the 20th century. The chapel exhibits the stained-glass masterpiece Bouquet above the entrance door, a 17th-century wooden crucifix positioned behind the altar, and selections from Rouault’s profound print series Miserere.

⚫ Tadao Ando / Museum of the Light

Exhibition: “Untitled”

This exhibition features works by André Butzer and John Armleder.
André Butzer has developed a diverse painterly language spanning from vibrant, pop-inspired character paintings to his “N-Paintings,” which reflect the deep influence of abstraction and minimalism. This exhibition traces his rich artistic trajectory shaped by his ongoing dialogue with the history of painting.
John Armleder presents a site-specific installation. Within Ando’s architectural space—designed to be illuminated solely by changing natural light—Armleder introduces fluorescent lights as symbols of artificial illumination, presenting a striking contrast between architecture and light.
